Auction to raise money for Parents who have lost a child

Hello everyone on this rainy August bank holiday!
First of all thanks to everyone who has commented on my first blog, and for the support you are giving. I couldn't really do this without the kindness of people who take time out to visit the site, or to check out new posts on my Facebook Page. It all helps to spread the word. I genuinely feel that we've got a wonderful gift to give to people. Our business idea is original and very versatile. We will always have new products and ideas to sell. I also think that having articles and discussions on this website is a great idea, it gives people a place to come when they need to escape for a while and think about subjects that are a bit more soulful than 'who slept with who in Eastenders last night' or 'what designer brand X celebrity has been seen in recently.' That may sound a bit judgemental, I don't mean it to be, I just know there are people out there that need something more in their lives.
So, I would like to announce a very special event that will be taking place on 1st September. A Facebook contact of mine saw my work and asked me if I would donate a piece of work for an auction to raise money for parents who have lost a child. Now, I was flattered as firstly she liked my work, secondly she's a professional therapist so my networking is aiming at the right people for the business and last but not least (not at all least!) I will be able to prove that I don't just do all this creative work for a profit. I stand by my ethos that art should be healing, whether or not money exchanges hands! Yes, I need my business to be able to pay the bills and put food on the table (hopefully a bit more eventually!) but first and foremost, I have been given a gift, and I intend to use it.
So, the auction begins on 1st September. Hopefully my painting will go in on Wednesday, so I have got to get it more or less finished today :)
